A new battle-plan in the anti-religious war is currently being unveiled by Meretz activists in Holon. These people, who are trying in vain to fight the awakening and repentance movement, have begun to distribute pamphlets hostile to Judaism. These pamphlets feature serious slander and mockery of the sacred tenents of Judaism, and religious activists have announced that they are considering suing the distributors of these pamphlets for hurting the feelings of the religious public.
The pamphlets are being distributed in neighborhoods populated by the Charedi and those who have returned to religion -- Tel Giborim, Never Arazim, and Jesse Cohen -- and are creating quite a stir because of the contents which mock the sacred tenents of Judaism. In these neighborhoods they say that Meretz's desperate steps only show that the traditional community is returning to its roots and drawing closer to Judaism, and any attempt to sully the teachings of Israel, G-d help us, will lead to naught or even cause the opposite effect (as is now happening in the field).
